About Our Studio

CREATIVE DESIGN

Our studio was founded in 2001 by Creative Director and proprietor Christena Hampson-Covello who holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from McMaster University. Originally holding classes in a local community centre, the studio has continuously grown its family of staff and students all the while maintaining the tight-knit community and culture that sets us apart from other dance studios. Today, the studio makes its home in a uniquely designed 6000+ square foot creative arts centre. 

CREATIVE SPACE

Come in the front doors and enjoy the feeling of being on a film set, from the street lamps that light up our special events and the red velvet ropes that make you feel like a star. Walk down the pathway past our Hollywood studio (one of the three state of the art studios) then sit and stop in our creative corner and come up with the next big "thing". Stroll by 42nd Street and take a jazz, ballet, or hip hop class. Or stop by Broadway, our Dark Glamour studio used for dancing, acting, and even movie screenings.

But if you're a dancer or actor, you get to come in our Stage Door. This is where you will feel like a professional performer, coming in to rehearse before a big show. And this is where the passion begins. 

Parents can enjoy our 800 square foot waiting room, where they wait for their rising stars.

Stop by The Shooting Eye and see where all the movie magic happens. This is also where our Film and Acting Academies train.
